Business School has been grooming MBA graduates, making them successfully
employable at various sectors of marketing, finance, International Business, IT
and HR for the past more than two decades. Students are trained in the latest
technological tools like SAP & Excel.
To
provide an insight in change management as is required in the current scenario,
an international guest lecture was organized by MIET Business School in
association with Meerut Management Association. Mr. C. Devidasan, Director,
Carving Talent and Mr. Stanley Blackett, CEO, Change Creator, South Africa
carried out a workshop on “Change Management”.
Mr.
Stanley said that organizations make 7 big mistakes in implementing change, the major one being not being able to create a hunger for change, not being able to
communicate it to the employees for whom it is actually designed. He also
stated that we do not want to move out of our comfort zones and this is due to
the Knowing-Doing Gap.
According
to Mr. Stanley, to create change, Motivation-Resistance is the formula. He
has also written a change creating formula for individuals and organizations as
well according to which we need to have a goal, belief, and willingness strong
enough to create change, overcome feelings and the environmental resistances.
Dean
(Faculty of Management), Dr. S. Ramachandran felicitated the chief Guests
presenting them a memento. Vice-Chairman Mr. Puneet Agarwal was also present
at the event.
